Following its string of activities supporting MSMEs and communities in need, the management spearheaded this effort to spread holiday cheer and boost the morale of its employees for the company’s remarkable performance this year. Items that were distributed were essential goods amounting to more than ₱15 million, just in time for celebrating Noche Buena this Christmas with their respective families.
“While our company is known mostly for delivering packages, we believe this is one of the most important that we have to send out this year. This time, for our employees. They are the core of our services, showcasing the true Bayanihan spirit in helping others. This is what keeps our bond together in this journey of delivering smiles,” says Zoe Chi, Vice President of J&T Express Philippines.
Staying dedicated to helping local online businesses, the company continued to grow its services with the introduction of J&T Home, opening in small communities (e.g. sari-sari stores, small shops, kiosks, etc.) where a customer can drop a parcel for delivery. This new venture also contributed to J&T’s expansion, with more than 2,500 branches and warehouses in the country to date.
Earlier this year, J&T Express also received recognition for its services, most notably the Gold Trusted Brands Award for Airfreight/Courier Services awarded by Reader’s Digest Asia, and the distinction as Courier of the Year at the recently-concluded 5thVP Choice Awards, in which J&T has won two consecutive years.
