Chery Auto Philippines (CAP) recently hosted the GRIT Awards in ACEA Beach Resort in Subic. GRIT Awards is an annual dealer appreciation night to celebrate and recognize the outstanding achievements of its top-performing dealers. The event honored those who excelled in navigating the challenges of a dynamic market, evolving customer needs, and the highly competitive automotive landscape in 2024.
“Looking out at all of you, here at this beautiful seaside location, I can’t help but think of our theme for this year: ‘Navigators.’ Just like the ships that charted these waters in centuries past, you, our dealer partners, have been true navigators of success. You’ve steered through the ever-changing tides of the automotive landscape, and continue to guide Chery towards growth and bigger opportunities,” UAAGI Chairman Rommel Sytin said.
The GRIT Awards, which stands for Guts, Resilience, Initiative, and Tenacity, is an annual event hosted by United Automotive Group Incorporated (UAAGI) to recognize the dedication and significant contributions of its dealer partners in delivering outstanding sales performance and service.
“The automotive world is never still. It’s a dynamic, challenging, and sometimes turbulent sea. But you, my friends, have shown us what true GRIT is. GRIT This is not just a word, it’s the very essence of what makes you the best in the industry,” Sytin added.
For the fourth consecutive year, Chery Alabang was honored with the prestigious Dealer of the Year Award (DOYA) in recognition of its exceptional performance in sales, aftersales, customer relations, and overall operations throughout 2024. This marks their fourth consecutive win, having also received the award in 2021, 2022, and 2023.
“It’s always been because of the team and how we focus on our customers. We always say, we live to serve our customers. But we do not stop there. We always strive to come up with more innovative programs to reach new customers,” Chery Alabang Dealer Principal Mark Chiongbian said.
Along with the Dealer of the Year perpetual trophy, Chery Alabang accepted a Php 1 million cash prize from Chery Auto Philippines.
