Every meaningful journey deserves a receipt.
At the Angat Bayanihan Run 2026, PPS Insurance Agency, Inc (PPSIA), through Palawan ProtekTODO, took the “Run, Resibo” concept beyond the screen. Inspired by Strava’s digital record of every run, the brand created personalized physical receipts that gave runners a tangible memento of their achievement, proof not only of the distance they covered, but also of their commitment to a meaningful cause.
Held on July 19, 2026, at Ayala Triangle Gardens, the Angat Bayanihan Run gathered more than 8,000 participants in celebration of bayanihan and collective action. Presented by Angat Buhay and co-presented by Make It Makati, the event marked the start of Angat Buhay’s year-long countdown to its fifth anniversary while mobilizing support for initiatives focused on education, public health, climate resilience, and civic participation across the Philippines.
At the heart of the activation was a receipt-themed photobooth where participants received personalized keepsakes commemorating their race-day milestones. Whether they completed the 1K, 3K, 5K, or 10K category, runners left with their own “receipt” — a tangible reminder that they had shown up not only for themselves, but also for causes that uplift communities nationwide.

Complementing the experience were informative displays featuring Palawan ProtekTODO’s line of affordable insurance products, designed to make protection simpler and more relatable to everyday Filipinos.
Beyond the activation, PPSIA extended complimentary 24-hour personal accident insurance coverage to all registered participants, underwritten by Oona Insurance, reinforcing Palawan ProtekTODO’s mission of making protection more accessible to Filipinos.

Together with the Palawan Group of Companies, PPSIA also provided cash sponsorships to support Angat Buhay’s network of partner organizations. Proceeds from the event will benefit nonprofits championing education, healthcare, food security, youth development, civic participation, and environmental sustainability, including Kythe Foundation, Kusina ng Pag-asa, World Vision Philippines, LoveYourself, Team Pinas, TAYO Awards Foundation, and Waves for Water Philippines.
By supporting these initiatives, Palawan ProtekTODO demonstrated how protection extends beyond insurance policies. It is also about empowering Filipinos to confidently pursue the moments, milestones, and causes that matter most.
“With Palawan ProtekTODO, we believe that every meaningful journey deserves protection. Our partnership with the Angat Buhay reflects our commitment to making insurance more accessible while supporting initiatives that bring communities together for a greater purpose. Through our activation, we wanted to celebrate every Filipino who chooses to show up not only for themselves but also for the communities they continue to uplift. After all, every meaningful step deserves to be remembered, and every journey deserves protection,” said Lisa Lou Castro-Sabado, Chief Business Development Officer of the Palawan Group of Companies.

By making insurance easier to understand and more relevant to everyday life, the brand continues to empower Filipinos to move forward with greater confidence – knowing that every meaningful journey, no matter how big or small, deserves both a receipt and protection.
