Sun Life Philippines has earned four awards at the prestigious 22nd Philippine Quill Awards, underscoring its commitment to communications that put Clients first and give back to communities, especially as the company marked a meaningful milestone.
Recognized as the country’s highest honor for business communication, the Philippine Quill Awards celebrate programs that meet global standards of excellence in communication management. Quill winners join a distinguished group of organizations and professionals recognized for setting the benchmark in strategic and impactful communications.
Sun Life’s award-winning initiatives demonstrate how communications rooted in Client needs and community care can create meaningful value for Filipinos, employees, and society at large.
The Sun Life Secure Income Marketing Campaign earned recognition for making the idea of a secure income more relatable to Filipino Gen Zs and Millennials. Featuring actor and TV personality Donny Pangilinan, the campaign used digital advertisements, a catchy jingle, and social content to connect financial planning with the real-life goals and aspirations of a younger audience.
Sun Life’s Feedback Ecosystem and CX Factor Awards transformed Client feedback into a powerful driver of employee engagement and service excellence. By creating a structured feedback ecosystem and recognizing employees who consistently deliver exceptional experiences, Sun Life strengthened a culture where every team member understands their role in enhancing the Client journey.
Launched as part of Sun Life Philippines’ 130th anniversary celebration, Circle of Light reflected the company’s spirit of giving back by bringing together over 800 volunteers to assemble 3,500 solar lamps. Unveiled at the National Museum, the installation earned a Guinness World Records™ recognition after breaking the record for the largest display of solar lamps. Following the exhibition, the solar lamps were distributed to communities to replace hazardous kerosene lamps – showing how a corporate milestone can be transformed into lasting community impact.
These three programs were all bestowed with an Award of Excellence.
Meanwhile, an Award of Merit was given to the Sun Life VIP Experience, which offered Clients exclusive access and memorable experiences at the SM Mall of Asia Arena, reinforcing Sun Life’s commitment to building deeper connections with them through distinctive and meaningful engagement opportunities.
