Chery Auto Philippines (CAP), the official distributor of Chery vehicles in the country under United Asia Automotive Group Inc. (UAAGI), kicked off its 6th anniversary celebration by bringing together its valued customers for a special Chery Car Club drive and event held at The Greenery in Bulacan on weekend.
With the theme “6 Years Strong with Chery,” the event marked the beginning of Chery’s anniversary celebration this November, commemorating six years since its reintroduction to the Philippine market in 2019.

This occasion was attended by Chery Tiggo owners, UAAGI executives, and CAP representatives. The event served as a way to thank loyal customers for their continued support.
Attendees included owners of various Chery models such as the Tiggo 2 Pro, Tiggo 5x Pro, Tiggo Cross, Tiggo 7 Pro, Tiggo 7 Pro Hybrid, Tiggo 8 Pro, Tiggo Grand Tour, Tiggo 8 PHEV, and Tiggo rEV.

“We wanted to start our anniversary celebration with the people who made it all possible: none other than our customers. This event is Chery Auto Philippines’ simple way of saying thank you for being part of our journey since the brand relaunched under UAAGI in 2019,” UAAGI Vice President for Aftersales Lito Landicho said.
Celebrating Milestones Together
Guests enjoyed a full afternoon of food, connection, and engaging activities, including a group discussion where customers shared their experiences and provided feedback on aftersales service. CAP expressed its gratitude for its customers’ appreciation for CAP’s openness to listen to their concerns and suggestions.
The anniversary event also served as a Chery Car Club drive, beginning with a convoy meetup at a gas station in Bulacan where participants assembled before heading to the venue. A convoy of Chery vehicles then made its way to The Greenery in Bulacan, highlighting the strong sense of community among Chery owners. Upon arrival, guests were welcomed with light snacks, followed by lunch. Some customers also took the opportunity to enjoy the venue’s swimming facilities, adding to the relaxed and celebratory atmosphere.

Technology was also given focus during the event, particularly during a discussion on the Chery rEV’s Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) feature and its dedicated Chery rEV mobile app. While Chery already has an existing mobile app for its vehicle users, the session highlighted the enhanced capabilities of the specialized rEV app which features real-time vehicle status monitoring, remote access to vehicle key functions, and smart A/C control, among others. This aims to deliver a more connected ownership experience.
Chery also shared updates on its growing nationwide network, including the upcoming opening of Chery Cebu, which strengthens the brand’s presence in the Visayas region, a news that was met with excitement from the attendees.
A Community Brought Together by Shared Journeys
Many owners took the opportunity to test drive Chery’s latest models, including the Tiggo Cross HEV and the Chery rEV.
Capping off the event, guests also enjoyed raffle prizes, giveaways, and the chance to mingle with fellow Chery owners, making the event not just a celebration but a true community gathering.
