UAAGI Auto Group has officially inaugurated the UAAGI Center for Technical Excellence in Valenzuela, a move that solidifies its 20-year legacy of expertise and commitment to reliable aftersales service in the Philippine automotive industry.

The UAAGI Center for Technical Excellence is located inside an expansive two-hectare property in  Valenzuela, Quezon City, which centralizes service standards for all six UAAGI brands: BAIC, CHERY, FOTON, JETOUR, LYNK & CO, and RADAR. The opening of this facility marks a strategic milestone in UAAGI’s nationwide investment in personnel development and service quality.

UAAGI is recognized as a premier multi-brand automotive distributor in the Philippines and, with the opening of the UAAGI Center for Technical Excellence, the group reinforces its position as a company that prioritizes reliable aftersales support as a core business pillar. This new facility ensures that all UAAGI personnel and personnel related to UAAGI’s stable of brands possess the technical proficiency required to deliver a consistent, high-quality ownership experience across the country.

    Dedicated Training Facility

The UAAGI Center for Technical Excellence is a premier 1,200-square-meter training hub dedicated to elevating service standards across UAAGI’s diverse portfolio including BAIC, CHERY, FOTON, JETOUR, LYNK & CO, and RADAR. This state-of-the-art facility underscores UAAGI’s commitment to world-class dealership services by equipping nationwide Sales and Aftersales teams with the specialized skills necessary to uphold the group’s reputation for excellence.Designed for high-capacity learning, the center features four specialized environments capable of training 120 personnel simultaneously. The curriculum provides a comprehensive pipeline of talent, ranging from foundational diagnostics to high-level mastery in Power Train Systems, Advanced Electronics, and Chassis and Brake Systems. As part of UAAGI’s future-proofing strategy, the facility also provides critical instruction in Advanced Hybrid and EV Systems, ensuring technical leadership in the evolving automotive landscape.

To facilitate immersive, hands-on mastery, the center is outfitted with industrial-grade equipment, including vehicle lifters, brand-specific diagnostic tools, engine rigs, and specialized components, even including a refrigerant recycling recovery machine (1234YF). Beyond mechanical proficiency, the facility hosts Comprehensive Product Knowledge Training and a rigorous Certification Process for Technicians, Service Advisers, and Parts Consultants. This holistic approach ensures that every UAAGI representative delivers the precision and sophistication required to maintain peak customer satisfaction nationwide.

“The opening of this facility is a testament of UAAGI’s commitment to our business partners and our clientele. By investing in modern training and aftersales infrastructure, we are ensuring our personnel are equipped to uphold the highest service standards. Our goal remains clear: to provide every customer across our brands with the reliable, responsive support that defines the UAAGI ownership experience,” says UAAGI Chairman Rommel Sytin.

Comprehensive Programs for Sales and Aftersales Excellence

Led by a faculty of specialized in-house experts, the center delivers a comprehensive curriculum that transcends traditional mechanical instruction. By integrating advanced Sales and Aftersales processes with rigorous technical training for both internal combustion and electric vehicles, UAAGI fosters a holistic culture of parts mastery and technical proficiency. This deep-rooted expertise ensures that personnel possess the specialized knowledge required to navigate UAAGI’s sophisticated logistical ecosystem, which is anchored by one of the most expansive parts networks in the industry.

UAAGI has solidified its reputation in the Philippines as an industry leader in aftersales reliability, anchored by a formidable logistical infrastructure designed to eliminate vehicle downtime. Central to this operation is the expansive 8,700-square-meter Base 2 facility, part of a vast warehouse network housing an inventory of 986,000 spare parts. This comprehensive stock ensures that critical components—ranging from routine maintenance items to intricate engine and electrical systems—are readily available for all UAAGI brands.Leveraging strategic distribution hubs in Clark and Valenzuela, UAAGI achieves a world-class 94% average fill rate. This operational precision translates into industry-leading turnaround times: 24-hour availability for Metro Manila and just three days for the Visayas and Mindanao regions. Even for specialized, non-stocked components, UAAGI maintains a disciplined 25-day lead time, offering owners the absolute confidence that their investment is supported by a powerhouse of logistical excellence and unwavering long-term commitment.

“This facility represents a paradigm shift in our service philosophy, moving beyond traditional training to a holistic development model. By unifying technical mastery, parts expertise, and premium customer handling, we are cultivating a more sophisticated workforce capable of anticipating the evolving needs of our clientele. This investment in our people ensures that every front-end interaction translates into a seamless, world-class ownership experience that mirrors the quality of the vehicles we distribute,” says UAAGI Aftersales Vice President Lito Landicho.
